Frequently Asked Questions
When do you open for the season?
   We open for the season the end of March and remain open into the beginning of November.

What are your hours?
   Monday-Saturday 8-5 
   Sunday 12-4 May and June

Are your plants guaranteed?
   Trees and shrubs are guaranteed for one year.

Where does your nursery stock come from?
   Most of our nursery stock is Minnesota Grown.

How long have you been here?
   We have been located at 1200 South Front Street, New Ulm, MN since 1997.  We have been in business since 1994.

What do you do?
   We do landscape design and installation including retaining walls, paver stone patios and walkways, planting trees, shrubs and perennials, lawn seeding and landscape maintenance.  During the Christmas season we also have real Christmas trees available.

What do you sell at the nursery?
   Trees, shrubs, perennails, vegetable and bedding plants (in spring and early summer), lawn seed, fertilizers, lawn edging, weed barrier, rock, wood mulch, soil, lawn an garden products for insect and disease control, etc.

Are you affiliated with any professional trade organizations?
   We are certified members of the Minnesota Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA).  We stay current with trends and any problems or concerns with plants and pests.

Do you sell gift certificates?
   We offer gift certificates for any amount.

Do you charge for estimates or designs?
   No, as long as the materials are purchased from us.

Do you answer gardening questions?
   Our knowledgeable staff is a frequent source of answers for gardeners and weekend landscapers.  Whether it be identifying plants, bugs or diseases or offering solutions for landscape problems you may have.

Why do my apples and plums rot on the tree before they are ready?
   They are overripe.  
   
I heard there may be reimbursement from the City of New Ulm for certain types of trees.  What are the requirements for that program?
